Here is the last part of our miniature series on incorporating our . In case you haven’t viewed the other six components, you’ll find them all here, or individual hyperlinks in the bottom of this post.
Today we are going to round up this series with our Favourite Particular Wedding Moments. These are specific moments from the real weddings we’ve featured that stuck in our heads. Tender moments, a detail that made us feel somewhat teary, and even a second that we discovered quite scary!
Groom Washes that the Brides Feet throughout their wedding Ceremony
It is always lovely to see just how couples decide to personalise their wedding ceremony, and this was one of their most tender and intimate moments that we’ve featured. As part of the outside wedding ceremony in the countryside, groom Benjamin washed bride Mariette’s feet as a sign of his commitment to her.
I imagine it’s not the type of act that every couple would decide to incorporate in their wedding ceremony. But I love the symbolism, and also the second of quiet and calm that I envision it would bring to a wedding ceremony. A excellent reminder to personalise your ceremony and do it your own way.
Awesome Breastfeeding Bride
Both Samantha and I have been mums in the past few decades, therefore these images of bride Elena breastfeeding her daughter during her wedding stand out for me. Elena chose a wedding dress that she would be able to breastfeed her young girl and photographer Emma Stoner captured these precious images of the both of these.
A wonderful reminder that your wedding day and wedding dress shouldn’t restrict your individual conditions, whatever they might be. Make them work for you.
Behind Every Wedding and Marriage is a Real Couple
We wanted to find a photo that made us feel somewhat teary, as we frequently feel emotional looking through your wedding. I chose this picture from Jessica and Paul’s wedding of the wedding guestbook, that was a framed photo of these surrounded by messages from their guests.
When I saw this picture it made me feel a little bit emotional and teary. Why? Since the picture of Jessica and Paul reminded me that behind each wedding and marriage is a real-life couple. It advised that weddings frequently look perfect on the outside (particularly online). But behind that we are all just two individuals coming together, together with our likes, our differences, our challenges and our struggles. Because of this I love this picture. wedding wear suitable for busty ladies
Surrounded by Family, Friends and Confetti
I adore this confetti throw capture from Clare and Ian’s fun outside farm wedding. Rather than the conventional throw walking between 2 rows of your visitors, Clare and Ian are surrounded by theirs, which I think makes for a really fun image. I also enjoy their expressions.
Epic Bride who Cut Up her wedding Dress On the Day!
A spur of the moment decision had bride Caroline cutting her up wedding dress part way during her wedding day. Yes. Really. Although she had had a distinct tea length dress to change into for the evening, she couldn’t bare to take off her wedding dress. So obviously she took on it with a pair of scissors on it. Eeek!
“Everybody thought I had been totally bonkers, however, it had been the best decision, I got to keep my dream dress on before the bitter end and had my legs loose for a few important barn dancing.”
A Portrait of a Tender Moment between Bride and Groom
We were on the hunt for our favorite bride and groom portrait, and that is hard since there are several superbly captured moments. In the long run we chose this dark and white portrait of Emma and Gianni for a couple reasons. For mepersonally, the emotions captured in this photo epitomise the feelings experienced on your own wedding day. Pure joy and a profound feeling of being in love with a person.
A Midnight Canoe Wedding Send Off
The beautiful Rhiannon and Richard were one of the first Real wedding we featured on our blog, also there’s a particular part of the wedding that warrants a particular mention. Following a little ceremony in the iconic Mwnt Church and a weekend-long wedding reception in nearby fforest, they had a midnight kayak ship off!
Bride Rhiannon told me: “Following the dancing we all walked down to the river — we had hung tealights in jam jars for just as much of this road as we can. With everybody waving us away from the riverbank, we paddled away by canoe. It had been so peaceful and romantic after such a hectic day.”
